Maketu Beach Haven is located on the eastern edge of Maketu village. Tucked along the golden sands of the Bay of Plenty’s Pacific shore, you’ll feel the ocean breeze from the moment you arrive. You’re just steps from the local boat ramp, perfect for launching a kayak or small boat into the estuary, and only a short stroll from great surf breaks.  The property is set across two levels. Crow’s Nest and Spinnaker cabins are located on the upper level and accessed via stairs, while all pathways on-site are level and easy to navigate.  If you need more to do beyond the beach, you're just 45 minutes from Mount Maunganui, Tauranga, Rotorua, and Whakatāne—all of which offer a range of shopping, attractions, and entertainment for a great day out.
